I have finished a new WordPress website.  Check it out at http://owatonnabikeclub.com/.  For this project, I used the Atahualpa theme, which is highly customizable.  I have had a pleasant experience with it so far, but a note of caution:  make sure backup your settings when you update the theme.  I didn’t, and ended up losing the header image, background image, along with some other things.

While you’re at it, check out the other sites in my Portfolio, some made with WordPress, others from scratch.

Installing Piwik

Wednesday, February 10th, 2010

Delving into the world of web-design again after a time away for a bit, I now have found a new web traffic analyzer called Piwik. From the looks of it, it appears to be a very powerful tool that has two distinct advantages: it is open-source and it works with WordPress. Over the next few days, I will install Piwik on several of my websites to see how it works. I’m hoping for the best.
